Here is the Christmas song that room 2 are practising for the Christmas Concert, 'We Three Kings'. I have put it here so the children can practise. It does have an extra verse, but what a lovely way to begin our festive season! Happy singing!

Gosh it's been busy this week in room 2.

What great fun we had viewing the 'Rapunzel Show'. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART?

Gingerbread Chain

For our measurement unit we made and decorated our chains of gingerbread men then compared the lengths of our chains.
We then joined all the chains we made together and estimated how far the chain will stretch.
This is how long it was.

It was great team work as we tried to stop our chain blowing away in the strong wind. Good work team 2!

Our Estuary Visit

Today room 2 went to explore our beach. We took our iPads and had turns at taking photos of many different things we discovered. We found seaweed. We also found lots of crabs. Some were alive and some were dead. They walk sideways,did you know that? We found worms stuck to rocks. Jackson found a slimly sea slug.
